Juicy Juice Artbot

Show your kids how to build their very own robot at home, with our Juicy Juice ArtBot! Best of all, there’s no special equipment or knowledge needed. This fun little craft will keep your kids entertained for hours!

Supplies:

  • Empty Juicy Juice box, 6.75 oz (cleaned and dry)
  • Construction paper, 8.5″ x11″
  • White paper, 8.5″ x11″ or larger
  • Tin foil
  • Glue stick
  • Googly eyes
  • 2-4 Thin markers
  • Glue gun (Adults only)
  • Scissors (Adults only)
  • Small, battery-operated moving toys or wind-up toys
  • Pom pom
  • Tape

STEP 1:

Cut the bottom off your empty Juicy Juice juice box, and flip it over so that your open side is on the bottom.

STEP 2:

Next, take your glue stick and apply glue to the sides of the juice box. Then wrap your construction paper around the juice box, using more paper if necessary and cutting the ends so that it fits on the box.

STEP 3:

Now, have an adult use the hot glue gun to apply the googly eyes. Make sure to wait a few minutes to let it dry.

STEP 4:

Then, have an adult use the hot glue gun to put a little dot of glue on the juice box top and stick your pom pom on top. Once you’ve attached the pom pom, take some of your excess construction paper and cut out a nose, mouth, or a multitude of silly shapes on your robot’s “face”.

STEP 5:

Now, take your markers and wrap tin foil around them to give your robot’s legs a metallic look. Do this at least twice, though you can add two more markers (for a total of four) to add more colors.

STEP 6:

Then, have an adult apply hot glue to one side of your tinfoil-covered markers.

STEP 7:

Now, attach both tinfoil-covered markers to your juice box with the hot glue side connecting with the sides of the juice box. Don’t forget to tape down the piece of paper just to be safe.

Finally, take one of your small toys, turn it on and place it inside the open side of the box. This will help your Juicy Juice ArtBot move and create all manner of fun, silly drawings and shapes!
